January 31, 2020: CCRP Announcement

David Ribeiro, director of Industry Relations for the Automotive Retailers Association, and Rick Setter, president of Crash Space Appraisals Ltd., are excited to announce that effective February 1, 2020, Crash Space Appraisals Ltd. will take on the role of administrating the application process for the Certified Collision Repair Program (CCRP) for the Automotive Retailers Association (ARA). The ARA will retain ownership of the CCR Program and continue to be a voice for the collision repair industry while advising about program requirements and any changes that made necessary as the program evolves. The CCR Program’s affiliation with the national accreditation program, CCIAP, overseen by the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) will remain unchanged.

“Rick will continue to provide his annual audit services for collision repair facility to ensure your place in the CCR and CCIAP programs,” said David. “We believe this will provide you with a strong hold in maintaining your business strengths, growths, and achievements as well as streamline the initial and renewal audit processes for all parties involved.”

With recent changes announced by ICBC, and the public insurer’s recognition of the CCR Program as a provincial and national accreditation standard, this is an opportunity to upgrade your collision repair facility to successfully meet the requirements for program enrollment and acceptance.

“We look forward to continuing the success of the CCR Program,” said David. “We will work to foster and grow membership and program recognition for collision repair facilities in the British Columbia marketplace.”

If you are not already an approved CCR or CCIAP Program facility and want to learn more, please contact Rick at rick.setter@crashspace.ca or David Ribeiro at Davidribeiro@ara.bc.ca for more information.
